Free school grant for unemployed divorced lady.?

The lady is 54 years old. Has Biology degree from Colombia, which she cannot use in the USA. She was a biology teacher before coming to the USA. Would like to return to school and take courses related to her biology background, and then find work. She is now a legal US citizen

    She should fill out the FAFSA:

    f she is low income, she likely qualifies for the Pell grant, which can give up to about $5,550 a year, I believe. That’s about the only free grant, however if she intends to become a teacher again, she might be eligible for the TEACH grant, but she would have to agree to work in low-income areas following becoming certified to teach biology in the U.S.

    great; another free-loader on welfare. "Free" is NOT free we U.S. taxpayers are paying for her to go to school for free. So, she should get a JOB and work and pay for her own school.

    Since she has a bachelors degree already (doesn’t matter where it came from) she will not be able to get any kind of grants in the US. She can take out student loans to get a second degree if she wants to.

    You don’t qualify for that if you have a degree already.She can always just get a job like everyone else and not ask for handouts.
